A partnership of independent fashion designers, producers, and models, DCFASHIONWEEK was created to increase economic development in fashion design, clothing merchandising, and modeling and enhance the visibility of the nation’s capital as a center of international fashion. DC Fashion Week is held twice a year, during February and September. The next fashion week is scheduled for September 27 – 29, 2024.
Registration (Buyers & Press) for DCFASHIONWEEK is from May 1, 2024, to September 15, 2024.
Registration for volunteers/staff/interns is from May 1, 2023, to August 1, 2024.
Registration for designers is from April 1, 2024, to September 1, 2024. Designers registering after September 1, 2024, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis until September 15, 2024. Early registration is strongly recommended.
Model registration is from May 1, 2024, to August 1, 2024. Models, media, and volunteers should email their registration forms. Model applications will not be accepted after August 1, 2024

Model Registration (DMV local models only, 100% ID check, minimum height requirements apply). We normally cast models with traditional runway height requirements. (Females 5’9″ to 5″11 and men 6’0 to 6’2″).
*Models not meeting our minimum height requirements (5’7″ for women and 5’10” for men are not considered. Models must live in the DC area for consideration. Due to numerous applications, we can only respond to models that meet the requirements.
